The federal tax administration took another step towards the negotiation of the called “irrecoverable or hard to recover credits”.

After the conversion of Provisional Measure n. 889/2019 (“MP do Contribuinte Legal”) to Law on April of this year, the Federal Attorney General’s Office (AGU) edited the Decree n. 249/2020, on July 15, which allows the negotiation of these debts with the Public Administration.

Such proposal is valid for individuals and companies and involves credits administered by the Federal Attorney General (PGF) and the Federal Union Attorney General (PGU).
